1 to 1 Coaching Sessions

The problem:​ This will be an area of your life that isn't working or is holding you back from meeting your full potential. It may be a reoccurring emotion or disempowering view of yourself. You may feel stuck and use coping mechanisms to avoid it instead of getting to the root of the problem. You don't know where to start or where the problem stems from. It could look like a series of bad relationships, a tendency to people please, anger & projection, a lack of purpose & motivation or a pattern of unhealthy habits and behaviours.

Common Approach: The standard counselling approach involves you talking about your past for long periods, further perpetuating the exact narrative we want to change. This can be counterproductive. It may feel good to speak at length about the issue, why it upsets you, and how much it creeps into areas of your life, but this does not provide a solution, and it does not help to "condition the change" that is needed.

My solution: In order to break a limiting belief, we must focus on the BEST version of "you" and what he/she looks and feels like. I integrate a creative element to my expert 4 step program, alongside several coaching interventions to create powerful sessions and lasting results. I combine inner child work, shadow work, visualisation & NLP to uncover your self-defeating behaviours and mindset blocks, implementing useful strategies to get you to the life you deserve.

The Benefit to the solution: The biggest benefit is that we work to challenge the part of your psyche that is contributing to the limiting belief itself. We work at the root of the problem to help build unimaginable self awareness, which will increase confidence and clarity. We will identify your disempowering narratives AND recreate a belief system, that aligns with the best version of yourself. You will feel empowered and your choices will reflect this. My approach is cathartic and allows you to the reward of your own autonomy and freedom.

My coaching process

Week 1

Session 1 Discover and Identify

This is where we “understand you” to the fullest scale. Together we will create a “current reality” of your present life so we can identify the interventions that will work best for you throughout our journey together. It will be an opportunity to discover who you are on a deeper emotional level and establish what is working and most importantly what is not. I will use a range of different NLP techniques, to navigate between truth and "story”. Once we have outlined your goals, there will be a creative exercise for you to do in solitude which we build upon in the following week.

Week 2

Session 2 Explore and Unravel

This is where we dissect your current view of yourself. How you feel about certain situations, how you feel about the people around you. What you love and hate and most importantly WHY. We will unravel patterns of unhealthy behaviour and suppressed emotions. Possible projections and unresolved inner conflicts. We may look at the impact of your past decisions on your psyche and introduce empowering alternatives. We will make relevant connections between past and present. Once we have established ground for breakthrough, we can translate this into a clear step by step process.

Week 3

Session 3 Resolution and Catharsis

The creative process begins. We will explore a range of powerful visualisations and interventions, and depending on what your primary goal is, I will tailor it to you, to achieve the best results possible. This is where we resolve the identified setback we have established in the previous sessions. Where we “overcome” whatever limiting beliefs have been stunting your growth. Some beliefs would have been embedded for so long, it can be emotional process to let them go. You will begin implementing new strategies in your environment and begin to see the results.

Week 4

Condition and Implement 

This is the final session and where we say goodbye or “grieve” and let go off. We will further condition your new identity and problem solve any potential hurdles. The goal here is for you to feel confident in your new sense of freedom and to set realistic goals for yourself that will keep you on track. This last session will be tailored to your individual needs and will rely on the progress made in the other sessions. I will give you access to a free ebook, where you can continue to self reflect and keep yourself accountable.

Why life coaching?

I became a Life Coach because I wholeheartedly believe in the ethos of coaching and its ability to transform your mindset and help you create the life you deserve. I am passionate about breaking the stigma of “talking to someone” and I founded the Cathartic Collective because I wanted to build a community that evolves together.
